          <title><![CDATA[Associate Lecturer Operating Department Practitioner (SHW2612)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted">We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues with an ODP background to support teaching and learning, on our BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice and degree apprenticeship course, in the School of Health and Wellbeing. You will join a friendly and supportive team of registered health care professionals who play key roles in the delivery and on-going development of courses across the School. Responsibilities for the post will include teaching or marking assignments on the course. &nbsp;</p><p>All staff across the School work as an inter-professional team, teaching collaboratively across shared and profession specific modules at all academic levels and you will be expected to share this philosophy.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Selection Process: </strong></p><p>Shortlisted candidates invited to interview will be asked to prepare and deliver a maximum 15-minute teaching session, followed by 10 minutes questions. The topic will consider teaching &lsquo;Evidence-Based Practice education for healthcare professions&rsquo;, aimed at Level 4 (first year) students. The Chair of this group will provide feedback on the presentation to the subsequent interview panel.&nbsp;</p><p>NB. If you are successful at interview, you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers.
