            <p id="isPasted">The Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) at the University of Worcester invites applications from outstanding educators to join our growing faculty. As a school with a strong mission to widen access to medicine and retain graduates within the local workforce, TCMS offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a progressive, community-engaged medical programme.</p><p>This post is essential to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of core medical/healthcare curriculum content and compliance with the General Medical Council (GMC) in Pharmacology and Prescribing. This is particularly essential for the training of medical students who require a high level of knowledge in medical pharmacology and prescribing to pass the medical licensing assessment (MLA) and prescribing safely assessment (PSA) as required by the General Medical Council (GMC). &nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for Medical Pharmacology and Prescribing on the MBChB and MSc PA courses. You will to be responsible for designing and developing learning materials and will make a significant contribution to lectures, practical teaching and the assessment for medical students, as well as contributing to the delivery of a high-quality student experience, working with the Phase and Programme Leads. Applicants are expected to have a track record of research in a relevant field and engage in research and scholarship. &nbsp;</p><p>The post is offered at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on the successful candidate&rsquo;s level of qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Ideally you will already have experience of teaching medical students or similar. However, key to the role is an interest in developing as a medical educator and the ability to work flexibly with the rest of the team to meet the needs of the MBChB curriculum.           <title><![CDATA[Clinical Teaching Fellow (TCMS2609)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted">We are seeking to appoint Clinical Teaching Fellows (CTFs) to support the on-going delivery of the graduate entry MBChB programme within the Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) at the University of Worcester. The School&rsquo;s MBChB curriculum is centred around problem-based learning (PBL), active applied learning (e.g. simulation), with an emphasis on early patient contact and community-orientated clinical placements. &nbsp;Founded with the aim of widening access to careers in medicine and retaining graduates in the local area, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team, which opened to students in September 2023. &nbsp;</p><p>Applications are invited for Clinical Teaching Fellows at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in Anatomy, Physiology and Clinical Skills. These are career development posts at FY2/ST level to facilitate the learning of the next generation of doctors. You will be involved in developing and delivering active learning sessions in the practical application of anatomy, physiology and clinical skills primarily in Phase 1 (Years 1&amp;2). You will receive training from a team of enthusiastic clinical educators and will have opportunities for professional development, including support with gaining a teaching qualification. &nbsp;</p><p>Applicants will have a keen interest in medical education and training. Applicants must be registered with the GMC and have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience after graduation from medical school. The Medical School has close relations with local NHS primary and secondary care providers, and we can support you in seeking clinical opportunities alongside academic commitments. &nbsp;</p><p>The posts are based at the Severn campus. They will be fixed term appointments for 12 months.
