            <p id="isPasted"><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The University of Worcester is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated University Apprenticeship Manager to play a key role in the continued growth and success of our apprenticeship provision.</p><p>Since launching degree apprenticeships in 2018, the University has developed a diverse and strategically important portfolio spanning health, education, and public services. With strong employer demand and increasing regulatory expectations, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a key area of University activity.</p><p>Reporting to the Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement, you will provide operational leadership and strategic support to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant and impactful apprenticeship programmes. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working in line with University policy</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>You will:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of apprenticeship provision across the University</li><li>Lead and develop a small team supporting funding compliance and recruitment</li><li>Work closely with academic Schools and Professional Services to deliver an outstanding apprentice and employer experience</li><li>Play a central role in implementing and embedding the University&rsquo;s Apprenticeship Strategy</li><li>Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements set by Ofsted, OfS, DfE/DWP and or Skills England</li><li>Act as a key University contact for employers, partners and external stakeholders</li><li>Lead preparations for external inspections and audits</li><li>Oversee performance monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement</li><li>Contribute to employer engagement, recruitment activity, and sector development</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>About You</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You will bring:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Significant knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding rules and policy</li><li>Experience working within the apprenticeship or work-based learning environment</li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in higher education or apprenticeships</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders</li><li>Experience of leading or developing teams and working collaboratively across organisations</li><li>Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret performance and compliance data</li></ul><p>Experience of working with employers and supporting apprenticeship delivery in a higher education context, as well as knowledge of Ofsted inspection, would be advantageous.</p><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p>This is an opportunity to:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Play a pivotal leadership role in a growing and strategically important area</li><li>Contribute to regional workforce development across health, education and public services</li><li>Help shape high-quality provision in a highly regulated and impactful environment</li><li>Work collaboratively across a supportive and values-driven institution</li></ul><p>Informal Enquiries</p><p>Informal enquiries are welcome &ndash; please contact Vikki Greenfield Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement <a href="mailto:v.greenfield@worc.ac.uk">v.greenfield@worc.ac.uk</a><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>How to Apply</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Please apply online, submitting your application form and supporting statement demonstrating how you meet the person specification criteria.</p><p><strong>Interview Date: Thursday 16<sup>th</sup> July 2026</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><em>The selection process will include: A panel interview (question and answer format) and a presentation.
