            <p id="isPasted"><em>The University of Worcester is proud to be recognised as one of the UK&rsquo;s most sustainable institutions. We are now seeking temporary cover for 16 weeks from an experienced and forward-thinking Energy, Environment and Decarbonisation Manager to help review strategies, and prepare for both ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 audits. You will ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation in environmental and energy performance. You will embed sustainable practices into policies, procedures, and technical specifications, helping to shape a culture of environmental responsibility across the organisation.</em></p><p><em>Collaboration is key to this role. You will work closely with colleagues from Estates, Facilities, Academic Schools, and external partners to promote awareness of carbon reduction, particularly in relation to Scope 1 2 and 3 emissions. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for efficiency, influencing decision-making, and delivering measurable results.</em></p><p><em>You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team with a shared commitment to sustainability and positive change.           <title><![CDATA[Summer Operational Support - Reception (FM2605)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted" style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Please note: This role is only available to current University of Worcester students, further opportunities will be available to external candidates in due course.</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Overview</strong><br>Over the summer period, the Facilities department will be welcoming a high number of conference guests to the University. These bookings will vary from International Summer School&rsquo;s visiting Worcester to groups booking Conference Events using the University&rsquo;s facilities. This increase in demand creates several opportunities for individuals who are looking to gain work experience, becoming part of an additional summer team which plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of the university and contributing to several areas of operational support.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>This role will require the post holders to be highly motivated and flexible when meeting the business needs across 7 days a week and have availability to work over the summer period between 31st July and September 2026.</strong> This type of paid work is an ideal way for individuals to enhance their CV. Training and support is provided where appropriate. Evening and weekend work will be required, and some activities may require an appropriate level of physical fitness.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Background</strong><br>The Facilities Department covers a wide range of services within University of Worcester, including Accommodation, Conferencing, Reception, Estates, Commercial bookings and Catering, Security Operations, which includes Cleaning, Campus Service, Grounds &amp; Security. This role specifically relates to Reception.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The university has various sites around Worcester which include St Johns, City Centre, University Arena &amp; Riverside and the Three Counties Medical School.
