            <p id="isPasted">This is an exciting opportunity to join the team working on the &lsquo;Birthing Stories&rsquo; project with the University of Worcester and the George Marshall Medical Museum, a collaborative project between the University and the Museum funded by a UKRI Future Leaders&rsquo; Fellowship. &lsquo;Birthing Stories&rsquo; is collecting oral histories with people who have given birth in Worcestershire to expand the museum&rsquo;s archive and collection, and your role will be to help co-ordinate this collection; engage in transcription of oral history (and collection of oral histories, subject to training); undertake archival research, and contribute to engagement and outreach activities across Worcestershire.</p><p>You will work at the George Marshall Medical Museum at the Charles Hastings Education Centre at Worcester Royal Hospital, and at the University of Worcester City Campus. You will also be expected to participate in engagement and outreach activities across Worcestershire as part of your normal working duties. Following a successful probationary period you will also be able to work from home on occasion, subject to line manager agreement.</p><p>The appointed candidate will start in the week beginning Monday 4 May (or as soon as possible thereafter) and work on a 0.4FTE contract for 1 year. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months. We welcome applications for flexible working. Occasional work outside of normal working hours (e.g., weekend events) may be required. Prior experience working in museum or heritage settings, or engagement and outreach roles, is not required and full training will be given on all aspects of the role, if required.&nbsp;</p><p>Applications close at 11:59pm Sunday 5th April and it is anticipated that interviews will take place on Friday 17 April. Shortlisted candidates will be given a brief to create an outreach activity relevant to the themes of the project and asked to present their idea(s) for this in no more than 10 minutes. This will be followed by a formal interview, with questions given in advance. Interviews will take place in person at the University of Worcester City Campus.             <p id="isPasted">The Department of <strong>Marketing and Enterprise</strong>, based within the rapidly expanding <strong>Worcester Business School</strong> at the University of Worcester&rsquo;s City Campus, is continuing to grow as demand increases for our undergraduate, postgraduate and executive‑level courses. We are therefore seeking to complement our team with an experienced <strong>Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Digital Business and Data Analytics</strong>.</p><p>The University of Worcester is ranked joint first in the UK for quality education (Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2025), and our graduates have the highest rate of sustained employment, further study or both from any multidisciplinary university in the UK (Longitudinal Education Outcomes Survey 2017&ndash;25).
