            <p id="isPasted">The University of Worcester (UW) is seeking a Lecturer/Lecturer (Teaching) in Biological Sciences to join the Department of Biological Sciences within the School of Science and Environment (SSE). &nbsp;We aim to ensure that all undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School receive an outstanding student experience. &nbsp;</p><p>You will demonstrate a commitment to contribute to this goal in student-focused, engaging and practical ways which reflect the University&rsquo;s educational values.             <p id="isPasted">The College of Health and Science draws together a wide range of healthcare disciplines including Nursing, Midwifery, Social Care, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Physician Associates and other health and care programmes.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician Team. The postholder will work closely with staff and external organisations/ providers to organise, prepare and maintain a variety of equipment, materials and facilities to a high standard for clinical skills and simulation activity taking place across multiple campuses (including activity at the Dudley site when necessary).</p><p>This varied role involves supporting staff and students in the use of specialised clinical skills and simulation equipment, technologies and associated processes. The Senior&nbsp;Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician will provide high quality technical and accompanying administrative support for a range of health and medical programmes, including demonstrating and training others in the use of the equipment and applications.</p><p>The University continues to grow and expand its facilities, with the development of our new Health and Wellbeing Severn Campus and healthcare courses in Dudley, of which we also provide technician support for. As part of the role, the post holder will also perform a range of administrative and financial processes to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the technician service across Worcester campuses and, when required, Dudley.</p><p>This is a dynamic and diverse role, which requires highly effective co-ordination skills, excellent time management and organisational abilities, ensuring multiple tasks and projects are completed to deadline. University of Worcester, Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science, preferably with expertise in cell biology, microbiology and/or biochemistry, to support the delivery of our graduate‑entry MBChB programme.</p><p>Opened in September 2023, TCMS was established to widen access to medical careers and help develop and retain a skilled local medical workforce. Our MBChB curriculum is built around problem‑based learning (PBL), applied learning including simulation, and a strong emphasis on early patient contact. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>You &nbsp;will to be responsible for designing and developing learning materials and will make a significant contribution to lectures, practical teaching and the assessment for medical students, as well as contributing to the delivery of a high-quality student experience, working with the Phase Leads to ensure the MBChB programme curriculum is supported in respect of &nbsp;biomedical sciences. Applicants are expected to have a track record of research in a relevant field and engage in research and scholarship.&nbsp;</p><p>The post is offered at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise. &nbsp;Ideally you will already have experience of teaching medical students or similar. However, key to the role is an interest in developing as a medical educator and the ability to work flexibly with the rest of the team to meet the needs of the MBChB curriculum.
