            <p id="isPasted">Working alongside a team of tradespeople and maintenance operatives under the guidance of a member of the Estates and Maintenance Team, you will be part of the successful delivery of a reactive and planned maintenance service for all users of the University facilities.&nbsp;</p><p>You will deliver the very best customer service from a temporary repair to a project, placing the customers&rsquo; needs at the foremost of every job undertaken.</p><p>Using software to update the current status of all jobs issued and taking an active part in team meetings to ensure that best practice and estate issues are discussed openly.&nbsp;</p><p>The University Estate operates over a number of different Campuses with a GIA of approximately 80,000m2 with a diverse portfolio of buildings. The Estate offers a varied and challenging workload and the ability to solve problems and work under pressure at times is essential.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Hours of Work</strong></p><p>Working hours are 37 hours per week. &nbsp;There is a requirement to work 14 weekend days which will be subject to rota (paid at an overtime rate).             <p id="isPasted" style="text-align: justify;">Events at the University of Worcester are key components of the University&rsquo;s strategy for growth and underpin the development aspirations of the university. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the delivery of the Arena&rsquo;s event management function.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The post holder(s) will be required on site for the duration of their event shift. Events you&rsquo;ll be working at include netball, basketball, karate, taekwondo, cheerleading, dance, conferencing, concerts and awards events. Our stewarding team undertake a variety of tasks, which range from set-up, bag checks, car parking, turnstile and VIP entry, crowd safety, merchandising and sales, cloakroom attendants, court attendants, broadcast runners, team liaisons to VIP hosting.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The role will suit confident individuals who have a real interest in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Within University semester time, events take place at evenings and weekends and shifts will vary between 4 and 8 hours, dependent upon the event schedule. Flexibility to undertake shifts at these times is a key requirement.             <p id="isPasted">Worcester Wolves is seeking enthusiastic and ambitious Athlete Development Coaches to join the Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball coaching team and support the individual development of athletes across the programme.</p><p>Working with Women&rsquo;s Premier League and development athletes, you will provide high-quality, targeted coaching that helps players develop their technical and tactical skills, build confidence and maximise their potential.</p><p>As an Athlete Development Coach, you will work closely with the Head Coach to identify individual player strengths and development needs, delivering position-specific coaching, personalised feedback and additional skill development opportunities alongside the wider team programme.</p><p>A key focus of the role will be supporting individual athlete progression. You will contribute to Individual Athlete Development Plans and help emerging players develop the skills and understanding required to progress through the Worcester Wolves pathway and into the Women&rsquo;s Premier League environment.</p><p>Working as part of the wider Worcester Wolves coaching team, you will contribute to an inclusive, positive and athlete-centred environment that encourages learning, confidence and continuous improvement.             <p style="text-align: justify;">The University of Worcester&#39;s Sport and Recreation service continues to grow, providing outstanding opportunities for students, academic programmes, external organisations and community groups.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Based at the University of Worcester Lakeside Campus, this role supports the delivery of outdoor adventurous activities, practical teaching sessions and community bookings across our land, water and aerial activity programmes.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will help deliver high-quality experiences for students and external clients while ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety requirements, Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) regulations, National Governing Body requirements, and internal quality standards including the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge, Adventuremark and wider educational quality expectations associated with Ofsted.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Deliver land, water and aerial activities to a variety of client groups.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Support academic practical sessions, community bookings and commercial programmes.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Set up, inspect, maintain and store activity equipment.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Assist with equipment inspection and decommissioning processes.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Maintain high standards of health, safety, customer service and site presentation.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Support the wider operation of Lakeside Campus and, where required, other University of Worcester Sport and Recreation facilities.</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Training and Development</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">No previous outdoor qualifications are required, as full training will be provided for suitable candidates.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Successful applicants can expect to receive approximately 270 hours of paid training and assessment opportunities across all 15 land, water and aerial activities delivered at Lakeside.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The majority of training is delivered in-house by our experienced technical team and focuses on the skills and competencies required to safely instruct across Lakeside&#39;s activity portfolio. In addition, instructors may have the opportunity to gain externally recognised National Governing Body qualifications such as Paddlesport Instructor and Open Water Lifeguard.
