We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and motivated Adviser to join our first-class, student-centred firstpoint team.

firstpoint provides a hub for enquiries, information and guidance through which students can access a wide variety of university services and support. The Service is based in the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre on the University of Worcester St John's campus.

The post holder will join the existing team of Advisers providing an efficient and professional first point of contact to students accessing services in person, by phone or by email.  Advisers offer information and guidance on a broad range of complex issues, completing related administration, updating records and following up individual cases as required.  There is a need for a calm approach and the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. The post holder will need to be able to operate under pressure and deal with frequent interruptions, as well as manage and organise a highly complex and confidential workload efficiently.  There may be some opportunity for flexible working.  However, as this is a student facing role, the majority of working hours will be on site.

This is an exciting time to join Student Services as the provision is developing to ensure that the university continues to provide an exceptional experience for students.
