WBLSO is currently responsible for the placement administration and planning for approximately 1800 students across a range of programmes including Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Health and Social Care, and Social Work.  In addition to allocating placements and ensuring placement information is up to date, the WBLSO acts as the central information and support area for students, University staff, placement providers and employers in relation to placement issues.
