The University of Worcester is seeking a Web Content Coordinator to join its Digital Communications team. You’ll have excellent organisational skills and a positive, proactive attitude to problem solving and learning new skills. A keen eye for detail and the ability to write engaging copy for the web is essential, as well as an understanding of how digital technologies can deliver a high quality user experience for prospective students and other users.

Core activities in this role include updating and maintaining the main external website via a content management system, creating engaging content for the website and other digital channels, working to enhance SEO, undertaking detailed competitor research, being involved in project management and ensuring relevant web pages work in tandem with digital advertising campaigns. You’ll also support the wider work of the Communications and Participation Department.

The Communications and Participation Department is responsible for external and internal communication at the University of Worcester with the aim of driving applications and building the reputation of the Institution amongst a variety of stakeholders.

It is an exciting time for the Communications team. With changes in the sector, increased competition and a desire to raise the bar, we are looking for outstanding people who can help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research.

The work of the Department brings it into close contact with staff across all levels; both within the organisation and outside. There is a strong culture of teamwork and supporting each other in times of pressure.
