Lecturer (Teaching) in Performance Analysis

We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Performance Analysis within the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester.  Successful candidates will teach Performance Analysis modules across different pathways and on the MSc Sport (Performance Analysis) course. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of undergraduate sports programmes at the University of Worcester and to work externally with key industry partners.

As an integral member of the dynamic and expanding School of Sport and Exercise Science, the Lecturer in Performance Analysis will work within a team delivering high quality teaching. The post will also include the engagement in scholarly activity and where appropriate, research and consultancy. This post will strengthen the team of staff currently contributing to the study of Performance Analysis and requires the candidate to have experience of providing performance analysis support in a sport and/or performance-sport setting. Excellent knowledge of software developments and the ability to support staff and students to enhance understanding and share current practice is essential. We also welcome candidates with experience of cricket analysis.

Our commitment to work that delivers real social benefit is facilitated through high quality teaching, world leading research, and ground-breaking facilities. For example, the University of Worcester Arena is the first sports facility in the UK to be designed with the needs of the wheelchair athlete in mind and also hosts a wide range of international sports events and conferences.

We have developed a range of well established, productive sporting and academic partnerships, both at home and overseas; collaborations that have helped cement Worcester’s place on the world stage.
