            <p id="isPasted">The University of Worcester is proud to be recognised as one of the UK&rsquo;s most sustainable institutions. We are now seeking an experienced and forward-thinking <strong>Energy and Decarbonisation Manager</strong> to help drive our ambitious journey towards net zero.</p><p>With a diverse estate comprising over 50 buildings of varying age and complexity, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change. You will take ownership of the University&rsquo;s <strong>Energy and Water Management Strategy</strong>, delivering impactful projects that reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions across the campus.</p><p>As the strategic lead for our <strong>ISO 50001-certified Energy Management System</strong>, you will ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation in energy performance. You will embed sustainable practices into policies, procedures, and technical specifications, helping to shape a culture of environmental responsibility across the organisation.</p><p>Collaboration is key to this role. You will work closely with colleagues from Estates, Facilities, Academic Schools, and external partners to promote awareness of energy use and carbon reduction, particularly in relation to Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for efficiency, influencing decision-making, and delivering measurable results.</p><p>You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team with a shared commitment to sustainability and positive change.
