            <p id="isPasted">The Primary Education Department in the Institute of Education is seeking to appoint Associate Lecturers in Primary Education. This is to work as a Lead Mentor completing school visits, quality assurance, and mentoring to students whilst they are on placements in school. Associate Lecturer contracts are flexible and so there is opportunity to work around other commitments the successful candidate may hold. Applications are welcome from those based in the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire area but also from the wider West Midlands area. Opportunities to support trainee interviewing, teaching and marking may also be available.&nbsp;</p><p>The University of Worcester (UW) has long been noted for its high quality and innovative provision in Education. As an Outstanding provider of ITE across all our provision, we are nationally recognised for our overall quality and high sustained employment rates of our new teachers. &nbsp;In this context, the Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational and excellent Primary Education lecturer with a strong commitment to maintain and further develop our excellent reputation in teacher education and training.&nbsp;</p><p>In order to maintain our strong reputation for and commitment to an excellent student experience, we are seeking an inspirational lecturer for this role who can model excellent practice in their teaching and inspire trainee teachers to achieve their potential in the classroom.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>There should be an active engagement in continuing their own professional and academic development, demonstrating their love of learning. &nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;Short-listed candidates invited to interview will be required to undertake the following activity:</p><ul type="disc"><li>a formal interview</li><li>a 10 minute presentation&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<u>Presentation Activity:</u></p><p><strong><em>Please share your knowledge and understanding of &lsquo;inclusion&rsquo; in a school context and explain how, as a Lead Mentor, you would support school staff and trainees in ensuring high quality teaching provision.&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>NB.</em></strong><em>&nbsp; If you are successful at interview, you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers. &nbsp;The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week. &nbsp;If you have any queries regarding this, please discuss it with us at interview.</em></p><p><em>Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route.             <p id="isPasted">The Department of Education and Inclusion within the Institute of Education at the University of Worcester wishes to appoint for Associate Lecturer posts in Research in Education. &nbsp; The successful candidate(s) will contribute to student supervision and teaching in areas of educational research, and on our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Colleagues whose educational research and teaching may incorporate a specialism in quantitative/ mixed methods research are encouraged to apply.
