            <p id="isPasted"><strong>This opportunity is only available to current University of Worcester students going into their final year of an Accounting and Finance, or Business and Finance degree, and who are seeking a one-year part-time opportunity.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The Finance Department are seeking current students to join them for a 10 month, part-time (15-20 hours max) opportunity as Finance Assistant &ndash; Purchase Ledger, with a likely start date of September 2026.</p><p>The role involves maintaining accurate records of liabilities to suppliers. &nbsp;This will include primarily preparation and input of supplier invoices and requests for payment, plus drafting and uploading the weekly payment runs. &nbsp;Answering queries from suppliers, including reconciliation of ledgers, and assisting University colleagues also form part of this varied role.</p><p>Candidates are asked to include an up-to-date CV with their applications.</p><p id="isPasted" style="text-align: justify;">Informal queries in relation to this role are welcome, and should be directed to Rute Loureiro, r.loureiro@worc.ac.uk.</p>

            <p id="isPasted">The Finance department is seeking a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly and enthusiastic Finance Department. &nbsp;This post is part of the Purchase Ledger function who process invoices and payments to suppliers and students, and the Cash &amp; Banking function which reports on banking activity. &nbsp;This is a busy and varied role, dealing with multiple contacts across the university. The post holder must ensure that audit requirements, university regulations and financial controls are always adhered to. &nbsp;As part of a drive for continuous improvement the post holder will also review processes and procedures to incorporate efficiencies where possible. &nbsp;</p><p>The Finance department is one of the central administrative support departments of the University. Green Impact challenges departments or teams to implement a number of easy, practical actions that will help implement the University&rsquo;s Sustainability strategy. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Teams/departments are encouraged to find projects particularly applicable to their work area to ensure all staff are motivated to be involved.
