            <p id="isPasted">The Finance department is seeking a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly and enthusiastic Finance Department. &nbsp;This post is part of the Purchase Ledger function who process invoices and payments to suppliers and students, and the Cash &amp; Banking function which reports on banking activity. &nbsp;This is a busy and varied role, dealing with multiple contacts across the university. The post holder must ensure that audit requirements, university regulations and financial controls are always adhered to. &nbsp;As part of a drive for continuous improvement the post holder will also review processes and procedures to incorporate efficiencies where possible. &nbsp;</p><p>The Finance department is one of the central administrative support departments of the University. You&rsquo;ll join a friendly, supportive team focused on delivering excellent service, while building real skills, gaining recognised qualifications, and growing your confidence in a professional environment.</p><p>You&rsquo;ll work in a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same &mdash; from being the first point of contact at the IT Service Desk to supporting audio-visual technology in learning spaces across the University. We place real importance on resolving issues at the first point of contact, and we&rsquo;ll provide the training, mentoring, and experience you need to develop strong technical knowledge.</p><p>As part of your apprenticeship, you&rsquo;ll be expected to fully commit to both your role and your learning. This includes attending regular college or training provider sessions (typically one day per week or in blocks), completing coursework, and working towards your qualification alongside your day-to-day responsibilities.
