            <p id="isPasted">The Primary Education Department in the Institute of Education is seeking to appoint Associate Lecturers in Primary Education. This is to work as a Lead Mentor completing school visits, quality assurance, and mentoring to students whilst they are on placements in school. Associate Lecturer contracts are flexible and so there is opportunity to work around other commitments the successful candidate may hold. Applications are welcome from those based in the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire area but also from the wider West Midlands area. Opportunities to support trainee interviewing, teaching and marking may also be available.&nbsp;</p><p>The University of Worcester (UW) has long been noted for its high quality and innovative provision in Education.             <p id="isPasted">The Department of Education and Inclusion within the Institute of Education at the University of Worcester wishes to appoint for Associate Lecturer posts in Research in Education. &nbsp; The successful candidate(s) will contribute to student supervision and teaching in areas of educational research, and on our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Colleagues whose educational research and teaching may incorporate a specialism in quantitative/ mixed methods research are encouraged to apply.             <p id="isPasted">We are seeking to appoint Clinical Teaching Fellows (CTFs) to support the on-going delivery of the graduate entry MBChB programme within the Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) at the University of Worcester. The School&rsquo;s MBChB curriculum is centred around problem-based learning (PBL), active applied learning (e.g. simulation), with an emphasis on early patient contact and community-orientated clinical placements. &nbsp;Founded with the aim of widening access to careers in medicine and retaining graduates in the local area, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team, which opened to students in September 2023. &nbsp;</p><p>Applications are invited for Clinical Teaching Fellows at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in Anatomy, Physiology and Clinical Skills. These are career development posts at FY2/ST level to facilitate the learning of the next generation of doctors. You will be involved in developing and delivering active learning sessions in the practical application of anatomy, physiology and clinical skills primarily in Phase 1 (Years 1&amp;2). You will receive training from a team of enthusiastic clinical educators and will have opportunities for professional development, including support with gaining a teaching qualification. &nbsp;</p><p>Applicants will have a keen interest in medical education and training. Applicants must be registered with the GMC and have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience after graduation from medical school. The Medical School has close relations with local NHS primary and secondary care providers, and we can support you in seeking clinical opportunities alongside academic commitments. &nbsp;</p><p>The posts are based at the Severn campus. They will be fixed term appointments for 12 months.
